Taco Salad with Creamy Dressing

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces lean ground beef 
  • seasoned with salt & pepper 
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder 
  • 1 tbsp. chilli powder
  • 12 cup chopped tomatoes  
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion  
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 


Instructions: 

1. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground meat. 

2. Before adding the taco seasoning, remove half of the fat and season with salt and pepper. 

3. Remove from the heat after 5 minutes of simmering. 

4. Split the lettuce into two salad bowls and top with the ground beef. 

5. In a mixing dish, combine the diced tomatoes, red onion, and cheddar cheese.

6. To serve, whisk together the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the salads.
